TransMobility is a family owned and operated senior, wheelchair and stretcher transportation service for residents of the Treasure Coast, Martin County and St. Lucie County. In addition to private wheelchair transport and stretcher transport, TransMobility provides private hire senior transportation and non-medical healthcare transportation for ambulatory clients.

DO I NEED A Reservation?

We advise booking your private hire transportation 24 hours ahead to ensure availability, although we pride ourselves on our responsiveness to all requests.

IS TRANSMOBILITY Licensed And Insured?

TransMobility is a licensed provider of senior, wheelchair and stretcher transportation. TransMobility carries fully comprehensive and industry specific ‘Non-Emergency Medical Transportation’ General and auto liability policies. We advise that anyone in need of transportation services request this important information from their provider ahead of receiving their services.

WHICH Vehicles Are Used?

TransMobility provides private wheelchair transportation, senior transportation and stretcher transportation in their state-of-the-art wheelchair accessible vans. All TransMobility Wheelchair Accessible Vans are:

  • Newer models; all vehicles are safe, clean and freshly sanitized for the protection of all of our staff and customers.
  • ADA (American with Disabilities Act) and Veterans Administration Compliant
  • Mechanically inspected by an affiliate of the National Highway Transportation and Safety Administration (NHTSA)
  • State of the art rear entry wheelchair accessible

HOW ARE TransMobility Drivers Screened?

TransMobility employ the Treasure Coast’s most professional, punctual and reliable drivers; guaranteed to exceed your expectations at every turn. All drivers undergo the following training:

  • Level 2 Criminal Background Check
  • CPR Training (American Heart Association)
  • Motor Vehicle Record Check
  • Defensive Driving Training

WILL MY Wheelchair Fit?

TransMobility’s state of the art wheelchair accessible vans go beyond ADA requirements, with 56” high door openings, 58” of interior height and 34” wide ramps and interiors. All handicapped transportation vans can accommodate both manual and electric wheelchairs and professional drivers are at hand to assist.

Rates are dependent on each client’s pick-up and drop off location, as well as for one-way or round trip journeys. Please call 772-888-6230 today for individual rates.

HOW AND WHEN DO I Pay For My Journey?

TransMobility accepts payment by cash, check and all major credit cards, as you prefer (credit card information is required at time of booking). TransMobility pride themselves on their fantastic service and as such drivers do not need to be tipped.

HOW DO I ARRANGE PICK-UP FOR THE Return Leg Of My Journey?

After your driver has assisted you to your destination, they will hand you a card with the telephone number of the TransMobility dispatch coordinator. Simply call when you are ready to be picked-up for your return journey and your driver will be with you within 20 minutes.

WILL THERE BE ROOM FOR Additional Passengers?

TransMobility Vehicles can accommodate up to 3 passengers, in addition to one wheelchair user. Please feel free to bring along a family member, friend, caregiver or service animal for the ride, at no additional cost.
